I am excited to be able to offer therapy to a wide age range. For the first 11 years of my career my practice focused on children and families; then, I spent several years obtaining additional training and working with adults at the VA.

I often use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and will personalize your experience based on your input—we want to create a plan that works for you.

During the first few sessions, we’ll get to know one another and explore your concerns. Once you or your child feels comfortable to talk, we’ll set goals and work on strategies that help you move toward these goals, such as learning to identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking or behavior.

Whether you need just a few sessions to work through a situational issue or more time in therapy to address broader or longer standing difficulties, we’ll work together to solidify changes and ensure that you’re able to maintain growth once therapy ends.
